Grade 6 from: £32,995 - £34,840 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £37,488 per annum inclusive of London Weighting.

The Professional Development Centre (PDC) is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Employer Engagement Adviser to be the first point of contact for employers wanting to engage with the PDC.


The post-holder will liaise with employers to provide a service to: Placements, Careers and Entrepreneur Hub and organise Brunel Unilversity London Careers Fairs and Employer Presentations.

You will also contribute to the Employer and Community Liaison areas of the PDC.


You should have experience in engaging with employers in sourcing talent for their various recruitment programmes, recommending ways in which they can improve these programmes.

You should have the ability to build and maintain relationships effectively in a challenging job market.

You are expected to have advanced IT skills and experience of developing administrative systems to enable you to support on the development of PDC systems and technology enhancement.

Furthermore, you will make an active contribution to the wider strategy of the PDC.

The Employer Engagement Adviser will also work with all departments in the PDC to cross sell the various employability programmes of the PDC to our employers and generating new employer contacts yearly, through networking, cold-calling and internet research to ensure we have a wide variety of vacancies for our students.

Occasional weekend work will be expected.
