Trade Operative
Ardler, Dundee - covering mainly Dundee and the Arbroath area, and on the odd occasion Edinburgh
£31,154 - £32,794 per year
40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 16:30pm
We have an opportunity for a Trade Operative to join our Responsive team, based in Dundee.
You will work in both communal areas and tenanted properties working with new and old stock, with skills in some of the following disciplines:
joinery, bathroom & kitchen replacements, basic taping/filling and slabbing. The role is mainly working with 1 or 2 others within a wider team of team of 8.
A full training plan will be provided along with a company van and power tools to enable you to get the job done.
The role of Trade Operative will include:
- Carrying out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications
- Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and restocking these when needed
- Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, by resolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
- Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer
Skills and experiences:
- Good communication and customer care skills
- Working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
