National Sameday is an established courier company, operating at 6 major airports across the UK.

As a result of significant business growth, we now have permanent vacancies for an experienced Driver/Loader to join our team at our Manchester Office.

This role is a permanent position Mon-Fri on night shift (8pm - 6am) and requires commercial driving experience of 3.5T Van.


We have an exciting opportunity to join our busy warehouse based in our Manchester Office as an experienced Driver, used to helping in loading and unloading.

We offer a competitive salary based on experience.


The role and responsibilities are:


  • Daily loading and unloading of a trailer
  • Working within a team coordinating and ensuring all customer requirements (Collections / Deliveries) are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Helping with daily coordination of deliveries, unloading and loading of vans
  • Being proactive when monitoring delivery jobs to POD and completion clear communication to customers and staff of any issues
  • To always keep a professional approach in a continuously busy environment and handson in the warehouse

What do you need to be successful?

  • Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Punctual and excellent attendance and able to work evenings
  • Ability to work under your own initiative
  • Ability to use IT equipment

Additional Checks as we are a CAA authorised company:

  • Full 5-year work history check
  • DBS / CRC Check
  • Airside Application
  • Full Manual Driving Licence

Desirable

  • GCSE or equivalent education
