The HR Team are a busy and friendly bunch, providing support to 5 divisions (Surgery, Medicine, Family & Specialist Services, Estates & Facilities plus the bank) on all things people related.
The HR Assistant will be the first point of contact for people queries, providing advice and sign posting to the relevant HR expert within the team.
- Managing the HR Inbox
- Processing maternity/paternity/shared parental leave forms
- Running the fixed term contract report and notifying managers where contracts are due to expire
- Taking notes at hearings and meetings
- Ad hoc duties as and when required
You don't necessarily need to have HR experience or a HR qualification, but we do require excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour and the ability to be flexible.
You need to have office experience and the ability to work as a team player, as well as a willingness to learn about HR processes and policies.
