Monitoring the performance of how well we are providing our services to the public of Greater Manchester is a vital part of GMP's business operation.

As such, GMP's Corporate Systems and Data Assistants play a key role in helping the force understand and report on its performance.


The main function of a Corporate Systems and Data Assistants is to work within the team to improve the use and quality of data that sits within our technical systems.


To succeed in this post, applicants need to possess strong technical skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, have a high technical aptitude for data and information systems and good communication skills to liaise with both suppliers and colleagues on highly technical data requirements.

Also key to the role are strong customer service, planning and project management skills, which you will use to ensure you and the suppliers you work with are effective in delivering system changes.
