Description

To Provide a specialised orthoptic service within a multi-disciplinary team taking clinical responsibility for the Orthoptic assessment, diagnosis and management of a full range of orthoptic patients, both paediatric and adult, on a daily basis.

This post will be based at Barnet Hospital, Edgware Hospital and Chase Farm Hospital.


You will have opportunity to gain valuable experience in a well-supported environment, working with cases in the following: Paediatric strabismus, Neuro ophthalmology and Adult oculomotility.


You will also be working as part of a specialist multidisciplinary team and will be involved in the relevant MDT meetings.

You will be encouraged to participate in clinical governance and audit activities within the team.


Applicants must have previous experience in Orthoptics, and have excellent communication and prioritisation skills and a commitment to continuing professional development.
