One of Scotland's most successful construction businesses is looking to a appoint a Sustainability Lead to play a critical role in delivering their sustainability and net zero strategies.

This represents a fantastic opportunity to put in to action some key initiatives, making a real impact within the business's operations whilst also pointing the way for the wider construction industry in Scotland.

As Sustainability Lead you will;

  • Assess carbon performance across business functions and project stages
  • Identify valuecreation opportunities via decarbonisation and sustainability strategies
  • Provide advice and support on sustainability and carbon reduction to senior management, support staff and delivery teams.
  • Identify and monitor project sustainability performance indicators
  • Support tender submissions ensuring sustainability and net zero goals are integral to pricing and delivery strategies
  • Experience in delivering embodied carbon assessments
  • Expertise in relevant software packages such as OneClick LCA
  • Experience in monitoring sustainability performance, preferably within the construction sector.
  • The ability to persuade, motivate and inspire change via excellent verbal communication, presentation and reportwriting skills
