JA1090 - Commissioning Technician-Fire & Security Systems

Location - Glasgow

Salary - £Competitive

Overview:

We are recruiting currently for a Commissioning Technician for our clients Fire & Security Business. The Commissioning Technician will work with their Project Department to assist with project completion and business growth going forward.

Reporting to the OperationsManager, you will have a fire & security engineering background and ideally have strong proven track record in the industry.

With previous experience in commissioning of fire & security systems.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure the effective management and execution of Company policies and procedures, which include Health and Safety and Quality Assurance in the delivery of service contracts.
  • Liaison with subcontractor, to confirm that they are complying with the Company's policies and procedures, which include but are not limited to Health & Safety/Quality Assurance /British Standards and UK codes of practice.
  • The liaise with the design team/manufactures for technical support to ensure that the specified equipment is fit for purpose and meeting the client's expectations
  • Other duties as directed by the project manager.

Skills and Experience:


Essential:


  • Fire and Security Apprenticeship
  • H&S training
  • PC Literate with Microsoft Word & Excel experience
  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Experience in installing fire and security systems
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:


  • 510 years Industry experience
  • Previous commissioning experience
  • Experience in IT & networking
