Logistics Co-ordinator to join a large global stockholder at one of their sites based in
Sheffield.

This is a company with over three decades of experience producing specialist solutions for the energy sector and has a workforce of more than 6,000 workers worldwide.

What will you be doing as a Logistics Co-ordinator?

  • Arranging transport to export customers and ensuring timely delivery of customer orders
  • Preparing documentation to meet customer and HMRC requirements
  • Expediting and filing all documentation relating to Exports (and Imports when necessary)
  • Advising customers of shipping details and liaising with freight forwarders to arrange costeffective and timely shipments
  • Keeping customers updated throughout the shipping process
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure orders are on schedule for ontime delivery
  • Producing and supplying customers with all relevant documentation before and after dispatch date

What do you need?

  • Previous experience working within an import/export department
  • Knowledge of air freight security
  • An understanding of both import and import entries/T1 forms
  • Knowledge of export procedures and required documentation including all methods of shipment
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office programmes (Word/Excel)
  • An understanding of a manufacturing environment
  • The ability to prioritise workload
