Who we are looking for

This is a senior position in the UK & EMEA Regulatory Reporting team providing oversight for the prudential returns for State Street entities.

It requires a strong technical understanding of the UK and European rulebooks to enable timely and accurate submissions.
A track record of implementing change, dealing with multiple jurisdictions and ability to work under pressure will be useful.

This role is in a team of four in the UK, supported by a Centre of Excellence team based in India.

What you will be responsible for
As Finance Regulatory Manager, you will

  • Review and submission of UK, Ireland and Middle East capital returns and pillar 3 disclosures for investment firms.
  • Policy focused, keeping up to date with Industry matters and interpreting regulatory text from EBA, PRA, FCA, CBI and other regions as required (CRD, Solvency II, IFPR, FEES).
  • Lead on the analysis and implementation of the new or revised regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Review and submission of management information, Board packs and effective presentation of the information where necessary.
  • Key point of contact for Three Lines of Defense, Local management, and Functional Leads.
  • Project management of I.T transitions, Legal entity restructures and internal projects.
  • Providing support to other functions such as Capital Management, Compliance, Treasury and Risk.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:


  • Proven relevant regulatory reporting experience
  • Practical knowledge of regulatory reporting software, such as Axiom or similar
  • Demonstrated ability to handle large volumes of data and returns with strict timelines
  • Project management skills and expert user of excel word and power point
