A rare opportunity has become available for a passionate gardener to be involved with the continuing development of one of Irelands finest private estates.

The 1000-acre property has many interesting features and a unique microclimate.

Features include many historic elements with the need to restore many of the naturalistic and formal parklands and gardens, including meadows, woodlands, rides, extensive walledgardens, perennial planting, arboretum, formal hedging and lawns.

The owner is looking to restore and develop the gardens to a very high standard and fine attention to detail.

Applicants should have experience with the maintenance and use of a wide range of horticultural machinery. PA1 & PA6 spraying qualifications and chainsaw tickets would also be beneficial for this role.

Most importantly the employer is looking for someonekeen to develop within the team, with progression opportunities available for the right person.

Accommodation is provided with this role, including council tax paid by the employer and other bills payable by the occupants.

SALARY:
Circa €30,000 depending on experience
