Description

A great new role for a Trainee Sign Installer has come in for a reputable and growing company based in St Neots, to train to become a Sign Installer, working across the UK, with an experienced Installation team.

You will be trained in various tasks - including installing signs and banners and building wraps - which involve working at different heights.

What will the right person look like?
The ideal Trainee Sign Installer will have a CSCS card, must be reliable, hardworking and willing to learn. You will also need to have great customer service skills, work well in a team, be physically fit, have a head for heights, and be an early starter every day

What will you be doing?

Meeting early every morning with the team at the depot in St Neots.
Training to become a fully qualified Sign Installer carrying out jobs all over the UK.
Working at various heights, including the outside of tall buildings and structures.
Carrying heavy equipment.
Learning to use various hand and power tools.
Assisting experienced colleagues in carrying out installations.
Meeting customers and being polite and friendly.

Hours/Salary/Benefits

The Trainee Sign Installer will meet the team at the depot in St Neots at 5.00am Monday to Friday, to travel in a Van to the job.

Finish times vary depending on the job (usually around 4.00pm). It's about an 8 hour working day (the rest of the time you are traveling in a Van). There will be some weekend working required, from time to time, paid as Overtime.

For jobs located far away, you will be required to stay overnight (all expenses paid by the company).

The salary is between £100 and £150 per day (£26,000 to £39,000 a year) depending on experience and certifications. Uniform and PPE will be provided. Overtime required including some weekends.
