Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual who can support an exciting project focussed on increasing participation rates in Higher Education.

We are looking for HE advisors to work with college students and a small number of secondary schools in the Weston-Super-Mare area.

There is flexibility in these posts and consideration can be given to part time working.


The successful applicant will be educated to at least first-degree level (or equivalent) and will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders including parents/carers, teachers and careers advisors.

Experience of working with students on a day to basis would be a huge advantage along with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to building effective working relationships.


The postholder will work as a members of the WIN team, which aims to increase progression to higher education in areas where fewer than average numbers of qualified young people continue on to further study.

The WIN is one of the Uni Connect consortia funded by the Office for Students (OfS) and covers Bath, North Somerset and Wiltshire.

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract
