About the Role:
At PitchBook, employees are our customers, and customers are king The Finance team handles everything "money" at PitchBook including accounting, quote-to-cash, payroll, compliance and budgeting for our fast-paced and growing company.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate billing and collections for our recurring revenue model, with a focus on accuracy and monthly reporting of KPIs
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including Sales, Customer Success and Finance, to resolve billing and collections issues and optimize processes
- Monitor and report on key billing and collections metrics, using data to drive decisionmaking and process improvements
- Provide mentorship to billing and collections team members, supporting their professional development and growth
- Work with offshore teams to ensure consistent processes and practices across regions
- Conduct regular audits of billing and collections processes and documentation to ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations
- Manage special projects related to billing and collections, including system upgrades and process improvements
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting
- In addition to lead responsibilities, daily transactional business as usual work is required
- Support the vision and values of the company through role modelling and encouraging desired behaviours
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in billing and accounts receivable collections, with experience in a lead or mentorship role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Customercentric approach to billing and collections with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
- Experience with Salesforce and Oracle enterprise resource planning preferred
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment, managing competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with a datadriven approach to decisionmaking
- Ability to work independently, under tight deadlines and in an ever changing/dynamic environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including indepth knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel and the ability to pick up new systems and software easily

Working Conditions:
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
