Description
We are looking for Concierge that will Control of access to assigned multi storey blocks.

To provide a service to tenants, check and verify all visitors to the building and ensure the security and safety to residents and the building.


The key roles of this post will include:

  • Working in the concierge suite to monitor activities at access points, communal and external areas using closed-circuit television. Reporting and recording all relevant incidents such as anti-social behavior, including acts of vandalism/criminal activity, Health & Safety Emergencies, ensuring all appropriate services are notified as and when required.
  • Control and observe tenant and visitor access to and from the Multi Story blocks
  • Contact tenants through door entry system / handset in order to provide a communication link between tenants and visitors.
  • Collate reports and share with appropriate officers. Report repairs, maintenance and cleaning required to communal and external areas to appropriate services.
  • Check the functionality of alarm systems and CCTV equipment on a pre-determined basis.
  • To demonstrate a positive, diverse and inclusive attitude to both internal and external customers and colleagues.
  • Such other responsibilities allocated which are appropriate to the grade of the post.

Knowledge & Qualifications

Essential:


Knowledge

  • Microsoft Office Packages, Including, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Word.
  • Ability to Multi-Task across different ICT based systems.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of equality and diversity and the ability to evidence how this would be displayed within the workplace.

Experience

  • Delivering Excellent Customer Service
  • Working unsupervised when required
  • Using own initiative
  • Excellent Communication Skills, Verbal and Written.
  • Excellent Timekeeper
  • Ability to Maintain Focus and Attention for Long Periods of Time.

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSE's (at least grade C) including Maths & English or relevant experience

Desirable:


Knowledge

  • Office based software packages.
  • CCTV operation
  • Working as part of a diverse and inclusive workforce

Experience

  • Liaising with other functions of the council and external services/agencies

Part time role - 6 week shift pattern. Hours and times / days of shift each week vary between 14 hours per week up to 22 hours per week. As its a fixed shift pattern times and hours cannot be amended. - Please refer to shift pattern / times SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 22 HOURS IN A WEEK

£11.39 per hour

  • Weekend availability
