Early Years Teaching Assistant Specification

  • Be a patient graduate
  • Have experience supporting SEN
  • Possess a strong academic record
  • Have a natural affinity for helping pupils with SEN
  • Display an obvious passion for education
  • Have a welcoming understanding for others and the tools to build relationships quickly
About the Early Years Teaching Assistant Role

  • Working in a small class of around 8 children with ASD and complex needs
  • Based in EYFS and year
  • Your strengths and areas for development will be highlighted by the teachers you work with
  • Have a tailor made CPD plan
  • Undertake various training activities to help you develop your skills
