Housekeeper/Domestic

Midlands

Salary - £21,168 - £24,559 per annum - depending on skills and experience.

Contract type - Permanent

Working hours - Full Time - 39hours

Closing Date - 8 September 2023

About the role


You will ensure that our 55+ schemes are cleaned and maintained to a high standard; to report repairs, to be a visible staff presence on the schemes and a point of contact for residents.


Clean all internal communal areas as directed by the domestic team leader, to include corridors, communal lounges and kitchens, internal doors, bin stores, laundry rooms and equipment.


To ensure that all equipment (including fire safety equipment) is maintained and tested as per procedure and to respond to alarm activations as appropriate.

Report any maintenance issues to GreenSquare and monitor the completion of repair requests.


Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer.

About you
You will have a good standard of General Education.

You must have an awareness of health and safety issues.

You will have previous experience of cleaning/domestic duties.

You will show willingness to help and be flexible.

You will be reliable, honest, and trustworthy.

You must be Physically fit.
