In order to successfully occupy this KS2 Teaching Assistant position you must be a motivated and inventive graduate who has a good understanding of how to work with children based upon experience gained from a similar role.

The ideal KS2 Teaching Assistantwill be an individual with a nurturing ability to guide young people in a positive direction, proving to be an excellent role model in motivating them to achieve above their expected attainment.

About the Role

As a KS2 Teaching Assistant at this school you will be working across the whole of KS2 in helping students to engage with the curriculum.

Initially, the primary role of the chosen KS2 Teaching Assistant will be to assist pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groupsas you work alongside a Senior Teacher in developing your ability to teach independently.

Simultaneously, the hired KS2 Teaching Assistant will be required to add your own ideas to lesson plans as you use the training you receive to improve the effectivenessand creativity of the lessons this school delivers to its students.
