Production Team Member (Assembly)

Location:
Dulcote, Wells

Salary:
£11.96 per hour (Inclusive of premiums)

Working Hours - 4 days on 4 days off (6am-6pm)

The Role
Our preparation teams play an important role within the kitchen. It's their responsibility to make sure that each dish we make at Bigham's is delicious. The team manage the preparation of ingredients for our cooking teams to then cook ready for our assembly lines.

As a preparation team member you will be:

Weighing large volumes of fresh ingredients
Hand cutting or slicing large volumes of fresh ingredients
Following recipe cards
Maintaining high hygiene levels and keeping a tidy workspace
Maintaining food preparation records and logs
Conducting quality checks to ensure that the Bigham's standards are met
Carrying out effective and accurate shift handovers
Flagging any issues with the equipment within your area

What you'll need

Experience of working in a food handling environment as a production operative would be beneficial however, isn't essential as we will provide food safety and quality training for those who don't have prior experience.
