About Our Client:
Charity Hospice, focusing on comforting and nurturing space for people to stay, both temporarily to gain support with symptoms, and to experience their last moments if this is their wish.
- Implement the Community and Events plan that supports the Fundraising Strategy which includes raising income from challenge events, individual fundraisers, internal and external events and community groups.
- Investigate innovative and creative initiatives and opportunities for new and existing sources of income currently not maximised by the charity.
- Engage with the community by giving talks and presentations to community organisations to share the impact of the charity's work on patients and family members and encourage ongoing support and donations.
- Work with the fundraising and communications teams to develop and implement effective supporter journeys using the existing CRM (Donorfy).
The Successful Applicant:
- Previous experience with Fundraising/Community/Events is essential
MUST be able to
DRIVE in to community 3 days a week
- Good financial management skills/Budgeting skills
- Computer Literate
- Taking initiative
- Helping when needed, helping with events etc.
- Time management
- Charity Background
- Flexible to working hours outside normal working hours if needed.
