Mpeople Recruitment have a fantastic new opportunity for a dedicated and confident Sales Administrator to join a market-leading manufacturing business based in Middleton (M24).

  • Location: Middleton
  • Salary: £23,000 £25,000
  • Hours: 8.30am 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday, & 8.30am 4.30pm Fridays

As the Sales Administrator, your day-to-day duties would include:

  • Administration of sales orders including checking pricing and calculation of cost of sale
  • Inputting and converting orders on Sage CRM
  • Sending order acknowledgements to clients
  • Order amendments in Sage
  • Inputting and amending orders onto the production schedule
  • Monitoring of shared mailbox to ensure urgent queries are answered by the appropriate person
  • Monitoring of queries from the client and ensuring responses are provided in a timely manner
  • Management of project files on the shared drive
  • General electronic and paper filing, including scanning documents onto CRM/shared drive
  • Ensuring job files have the correct up to date information, including the most up to date drawings
  • Completion of production specification sheets for the production team
  • Printing and issuing drawings for production
  • Booking collections and deliveries
  • Stock ordering and monitoring delivery etc.
  • Client liaison for general enquiries
  • Coordinating client meetings when required
The required traits, skills, and background to be considered for this Sales Administrator role are:

  • Office administration experience is essential
  • Previous experience within the manufacturing industry would be desirable but is not essential


  • Strong IT skills

  • CRM and Microsoft office programmes
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage own workload
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Tenacious, selfstarting, selfmotivated
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
