Do you want to be part of our talented Operations' team scheduling production and resources for the fermentation plant to ensure on-time fulfilment of our customers' projects? Biocatalysts develop and manufacture speciality enzymes from small to large scale quantities for a variety of industries such as food, flavor, fragrance, life science, pharma and fine chemicals.

We are the only company offering a rapid, low-cost speciality enzyme service from discovery phase through to global shipment of regulatory compliant enzymes.


Position
Do you love the science but know you don't want a career working in a lab environment?

Have you considered using your science within a commercial environment?


If yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for you to stimulate your interest in science and play a key role working alongside our professional and talented Commercial team to coordinate and manage technical sales enquiries for our customers, writing project proposals and provide administrative and technical support.


Salary range:
Competitive salary plus benefits' package*
Location: Nantgarw, Cardiff



Working hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm Mon-Fri

Requirements:


You will not be afraid to pick up the phone and talk to our customers in a professional manner, along with a natural ability to develop strong relationships across the business in a friendly and enthusiastic way.

You must be confident, inquisitive with a commercial flair and have the ability to discover exactly what the customer needs by asking the right questions and delivering a solution that will engage and ultimately, exceed their expectations.


You will need to be highly self-motivated, proactive, a fast learner with a commitment to developing strong, technical product knowledge, outgoing, fun and loves working as part of a team.

Experience of working in a technical sales and customer service environment will be a distinct advantage but not essential.


A science degree or equivalent is essential, however, we will offer you a broad range of experiences supported by learning, coaching and support from some our talented people.
