Description

Tradebe Healthcare require a Plant Supervisor for our new Queenslie, Glasgow site.

Pay and Benefits:

- £25,877.00 p/a. Overtime paid at time and a half.

  • 12hour shifts, 4 on 4 off days and nights.
  • Quarterly bonus of £250.
  • 23 days holiday.

Team Management:


  • Effective leadership and future development of the team ensuring their daily tasks align with the site operating objectives and business needs.
  • Organise and take responsibility for team members to maximise performance of processing plants.
  • Be accountable for your team and their actions.

Operations:


  • To manage all waste movements on site from receipt to treatment and/or transfer from site in accordance with company procedures (SAP) and legislation to ensure all revenue is captured.
  • Ensure the plant(s) are operated in line with site permits and consents, including monitoring emissions (where applicable) to avoid breaches.
  • Report any such breaches to the regulator in accordance with permit requirements and to management in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maximise throughputs on all processing plants by ensuring waste is mixed/blended as required.
  • Act as go between to site manager in the absence of the plant manager.
  • Carry out repairs on equipment where trained.
  • Use initiative to solve problems as they occur or notify line manager where this is not possible.
  • Ensure all bins (770ltr) are washed and maintained after each use.
  • Deploy resources to ensure swift turnaround of company vehicles.
  • Working as part of the site team you will be expected to carry out duties to assist other parts of the operation.
  • Ensure that site housekeeping is of the highest standards.
