This an amazing chance to be a part of of the Children's team at RDaSH and support other people who have gone through a similar experience to you.

People volunteer with us for many reasons. Most often as a way of giving

something back to their community, knowing that they have helped patients, their carers and family when they are feeling at their most vulnerable.

The volunteer is required to work within the list of tasks identified as follows:

  • Ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all families
  • Support Community Nursery Nurse (CNN)/Health Promotion Practitioners (HPP)with engaging parents in general conversation, and take a lead with any Breastfeeding mums in the group.
  • Replenish leaflets and information when required
  • Set up equipment in the group setting
  • Maintain hygiene of equipment used within the group setting
  • Support cleaning the tables before and after snack times
  • Support the distribution of refreshments / beverages to families including giving out snacks and drinks, refilling water jugs
  • Report any concerns to the Supervisor / Service Manager
