If you're looking to take the next step in your finance career, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified Finance Business Partner to join us on a permanent basis.

You'll be reporting directly into the Head of Finance and responsible for supporting the Brakes Framework Sales Division.

This role will provide a first point of contact service for the sales teams and management for any finance related matters and supportthem with driving and delivering results, including financial evaluations for new business tenders and ongoing retentions.

Expect to heavily partner and support the department by providing insight across multiple projects and guidance to improve performancewhich will drive sales and margin.


This role is currently home based; however, it will form part of the agile working approach going forward, meaning visits into the Ashford, Kent office once each week.


Key Accountabilities

  • Analysis & monitoring of the division's key performance indicators; sales, profitability ratios, and investigating variances to budget or year on year movements
  • Developing of models to provide insight on key metrics. Working with the sales team to ensure the reports provide required detail & then managing the subsequent hand over to Sales Ops. Ensuring ongoing accuracy of reporting
  • Expected to work along sales to produce a compelling commercial proposition for Brakes customers.
  • Provide insight into projects to include initial evaluation, feedback and ongoing success tracking
  • Liaise with managers to rigorously challenge and question their plan assumptions and KPIs on an ongoing basis
  • Production of weekly trading deck
You'll be fully qualified with significant PQE (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) and have experience working within a fast-paced commercial environment.

We are looking for someone who has the confidence to deal with stakeholders at all levels across the business and tochallenge decisions in a constructive way, offering solutions to any problems, always ensuring the best outcome is achieved.

Using your finance knowledge and experience you will provide a vital service and partner closely with the team on risk and continuousimprovement, so you must be able to hold a strong conversation with sound analytical insight.

The ability to understand trends and results with a high level of competency in financial analysis and modelling is essential.

An advanced level of Microsoft Exceland PowerPoint is also required. Any working knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
