Hiram Education and Research Team (HEaRT) is responsible for staff training, education and development.Through high quality and timely training, HEaRT seeks to help staff develop the skills, abilities and knowledge they require in order that students receive the highest quality and impactful educational experience.
Our core training offer has grown over the last few years from four internal courses to the current eleven for both internal and external applicants, alongside other supplementary and compliance training.
Administrative Officer
40 hours per week/ 52 weeks per year
FTE:
£20,324 - £24,587 per annum
(Dependant on experience and qualifications)
This position can be based at based at Ruskin Mill College in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire or Catherine Grace School in Bristol
Working as part of the Hiram Education and Research Team (HEaRT), you will lead the administrative processes and support for training course development and delivery plans for the Hiram Education and Research Team.
Main Duties include:
- Providing meeting coordination and administrative support to the HEaRT Directorate meetings and other HEaRT meetings as required.
- Supporting the Head of Staff Education and Training in the reviewing of cross Trust training needs.
- To provide data analysis to the Head of Training and Development for further communication.
- Managing the central approval processes for training requests.
- Working with the Accreditation Manager, supporting any development in establishing an awarding body and to work with accrediting bodies for staff learning.
- To work with the Publishing Managers to manage resources such as Handbooks, Learner Handbooks and research material.
In addition, you must have excellent skills in; IT, prioritisation, communication and have the ability to demonstrate high levels of motivation and enthusiasm.
