Are you a document controller looking for a new challenge?
I am delighted to be recruiting for a Document Controller for my client who are market leaders within the construction industry.
The primary role of the Document Controller is to administer document management throughout the business and ensure that commercial procedures are followed, and company records are maintained up to date and in the correct format.
Responsibilities:
- Administer the document management system
- Maintain an uptodate drawing register for each site
- Print and distribute documents as needed to the relevant people
- Set up and maintain electronic records for all sites on SharePoint
- Archive electronic records once documents are no longer in use
- Manage the efficient organisation of all paper records
- Archive paper records once documents are no longer in use
- Coordinate customer care administration
- General Office Management tasks for the Darley Mills office
- Ad Hoc administration duties if required
- 2 years' experience as a document controller (preferred)
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Experience working in data entry
- Experience working with Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam Revu
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication
- Previous experience working in the groundworks industry is highly desirable
- Selfmotivated
