Milk Education is partnering with and supporting an outstanding SEN Primary School in the heart of Salford. We are looking to employ an enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant.

This Primary School caters to children with moderate to severe learning difficulties,with fantastic facilities to accommodate the needs of the children, including, a hydrotherapy pool, soft play room, sensory room, and fabulous outdoor learning spaces.

This Teaching assistant position is full-time and to be filled as soon as possible.

Location: Salford
Pay: £72£82
Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Responsibilities for SEND Teaching Assistant

You will be working under the direction of the teacher helping with daytoday learning on a onetoone basis or within small groups
Supporting the pupils in everyday learning and catering to all their needs
Must be capable of managing behavior and building positive relationships with pupils and staff
A good understanding of SEND including moderate to severe learning difficulties and those on the Autistic Spectrum

Qualifications & Essential Skills for SEND Teaching Assistant

CACHE Level 2 or Level 3(childcare qualification) Education Studies or Early Childhood Studies degree, Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma
To be able to provide highquality care and excellent personable skills
Experience working with children, vulnerable adults, or individuals with SEND in the last 2 years
