What does your typical day look like? You will work towards being responsible for reporting on day to day manufacturing finances and supporting the site to deliver annual objectives.
Other key actions will be but not limited to:
- Ensure accurate KPI and MI is communicated to management
- Produce relevant, timely and accurate financial analysis of material and labour variances
- Monitoring and communicating overhead spend to budget holders
- Complete new product costings accurately and timely
- Period end accounting including accruals and prepayments
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Continually develop our finance systems to improve financial reporting
- Constantly assess the effectiveness of the financial information produced
What are the key ingredients needed for the role?
You will need to have a finance degree and be studying towards your ACCA
You will need to be confident with excel and pivot tables, along with an understanding of SAP and ability to analyse and manipulate data
