Here at South Thames College, we are seeking two Centre School Administrators, one in our School of Vocation & Technical Studies at our Wandsworth campus and the other, in our School of Adult Education at our Tooting campus.


Reporting to the Senior Curriculum Administrator and the Head of College Administration & Exams, you will provide administrative support for the Head of School, School Management Team and curriculum staff in order to support the effective management and delivery of the curriculum and its operation within a designated centre.

Working as part of a close-knit team, you will liaise with curriculum staff and cross-college services on student and staff matters and manage enquiries and administration tasks relating to courses.

You will also provide effective and flexible support for ad hoc business tasks and events such as those linked to enrolment, progression, and admissions within each centre.


As our Centre School Administrator, you'll have experience of providing strong administrative support within a fast paced environment and be able to build relationships across teams to deliver tasks effectively.

With a high level of computer literacy, you'll be able to work accurately according to set procedures and use initiative, organising and prioritising effectively.

You'll be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and be committed to the provision of a quality service and the implementation of quality improvements.


Experience of working within a curriculum setting is desirable, as is experience of liaising and supporting students, parents and staff and achieving successful resolutions and centre administration.
