MAIN ACTIVITIES

Read and follow drawings or specifications, for size, type and thickness of glass to be used.
Perform survey of openings to glass for both new work and remedial.
Measuring jobs for estimating and installations
Load and arrange glass and mirrors on to delivery vehicle.
Drive delivery vehicle to installation site and unload glass, materials, and tools.
Liaising with site managers/customers.
Installation of screens/doors plus glazing of fire non fire rated and timber/steel/aluminum systems
Act as intermediate between site manager and glazing manager.
Responsible for inspecting and signing off work before handing over to customer.
Comply with the company's policies and procedures as set out within the Employee Handbook, Accreditations Manual (including Best Practice Quality Guide) and the Health and Safety Manual, as updated from time to time.
Comply with the requirements for the role as set out within the company's Integrated Management System (currently comprising of the Quality Management System, Environmental Management System and the Health and Safety Management System), as updated from time to time.
Comply with the requirements of any Core Duties or other relevant procedural or policy document applicable to your role.
Undertake other duties within his/her competenceor otherwise appropriate to the grading of the post as required.
