Shift Times:

The shift pattern would require you to work days and nights and two out every five weekends. The average shift pattern is 33.6 hours a week

Pay Details:

£16.15 per hour, giving £550 a week and almost £29,000 a year. Extra hours are available to cover colleagues.

Control Room Operator - Britsafe Limited:
Britsafe Limited, a leading security company, is seeking a Control Room Operator to join our Security department.

As a Control Room Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises.


Responsibilities:


  • Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and other security systems
  • Respond to alarms and incidents, and take appropriate action
  • Coordinate with security personnel on the ground to ensure a swift response to any security breaches
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and actions taken
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and emergency services
  • Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the control room

Requirements:


  • Prior experience as a Control Room Operator or in a similar role is preferred
  • Proficient in operating CCTV cameras and other security systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in highpressure situations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
**This is a licensed role so applicants must have a valid SIA licence. Applicants without such a licence will be automatically rejected.
