St Roch's Childcare Service is looking for someone to collect children from local primary schools and walk them to our out of school care service.

Out of School Care Escort - The Role:

You will be safely escorting children from primary one to primary seven-year-olds from local schools to our out of school care.

This may include children with additional needs who will require you to use the strategies that are in place to ensure that there is a good transition from their school to our service.


The successful applicant will be bubbly, enthusiastic, and able to demonstrate that they are able to communicate effectively with the children.

Qualifications Required

NVQ level 2 in childcare/play work or equivalent or studying for a relevant qualification.

Hours

To work from 2.30pm until 3.45pm (term time)

There is an opportunity to work longer hours in our nursery covering staff lunches or during school holidays.

Our Service

St Roch's out of school care, offer's aftercare, and a holiday programme for school aged children. We are based in Royston primary school. We support the development of children to become, creative, responsible, and curious citizens.
