Working hours:35 hours per week (Nights) plus 10% Night Worker Allowance

Barrack Street Project will provide safe and secure emergency accommodation for 150 individuals. Staff will be required to engage with Language Services where there may be any barriers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve Access to Health and Social Care Services
  • You will be responsible for the daytoday delivery of the service, engaging with clients with the overall goal of supporting them to access all links to support while aiding the support worker caseload.

To succeed you will need to have the ability to work independently and be comfortable as a lone worker, when required, with a good knowledge of the relevant protocols and safety precautions.

You'll be able to maintain passion for working with individuals who have had to flee their own home.

  • Qualification or equivalent in a related field or be willing to work towards
  • Experience of working with vulnerable clients in this field
  • Knowledge of the benefit system and an understanding of supported housing funding streams and reporting requirements
  • And PVG scheme disclosure check. All new employees have to register with SSSC within 6 months of appointment.
