SEN Teaching Assistant Wanted

Primary Reception Age

Enfield

£90-395 per day

Immediate start until July 2023


Are you an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to work 121 with a child with Down Syndrome at our primary school in Enfield.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the child with Down Syndrome in the classroom and during other activities
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff to develop and implement individualised education plans
  • Helping the child with Down Syndrome to meet their educational, social and emotional needs
  • Monitoring the child's progress and providing regular feedback to teachers and parents
  • Helping the child with Down Syndrome to develop their communication, social and life skills

Requirements:


  • Experience working with children with Down Syndrome or other special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience and a positive attitude
  • A desire to make a difference in the life of a child
  • Team player and willingness to work with other staff
