Who You Are / Your Next Challenge
Moneycorp have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced
AML
Compliance Officer to join the Risk & Compliance team based in the Coventry office.
The role reports into the AML Manager and Deputy MLRO
supporting them with
managing Moneycorp's UK AML and sanctions compliance operations for compliance with relevant laws, regulations policies and procedures as well as considering emerging financial crime risks and regulations.
You will be accountable for establishing standards and relevant policies, procedures and best practice satisfied in identifying, preventing, detecting and correcting AML and sanctions risk ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the AML controls environment for the UK Moneycorp entities.
What we're looking for / Skills and Knowledge that will help you in the role
Background in regulatory compliance - Essential
Knowledge of banking, AML, Sanctions regulations and requirements - Essential
Keeps up to date with the market - Essential
Experience in liaising with brokers/sales back office, AML On-boarding teams - Desirable
Knowledge and Technical Experience:
› Experience in managing and/or oversight of AML, On-boarding DD and Fin Crime issues/reporting, utilising JMLSG guidance and best practice - Essential
› The incumbent will possess experience of working in a Compliance and AML environment, along with an understanding of the regulatory requirements for Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.
› Knowledge, understanding and working practice of the UK payments and foreign exchange sector.
› Proven track record acting in part as a compliance officers, autonomously, a self-starter.
› Experience of working within a multinational group environment is preferred
Please note:
This position is full-time, permanent. The role is expected to be office-based in Coventry as part of the Risk & Compliance team.
However, we have an agile flexible working policy which enables you to work up to 2 days from home if desired.
