Description

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to work for a Professional Services type business based in Crawley, West Sussex.

The Payroll Administrator will support the payroll function with the payroll for their staff, manual salary/ payroll calculations, related remuneration and ensuring their benefit packages are run properly.


Salary:
up to £29K


Location:
Hybrid working - 3 days office based - Crawley


Hours: 9-5.30


Payroll Admin duties include:


  • Keep the Payroll Manager fully informed of the status of work and of any payroll problems encountered
  • Assist with other duties which may be required by the payroll controller or manager.
  • Assisting with the running of monthly payroll and any changes
  • Calculating adjustments required, including prorata calculations
  • Checking calculations and input payroll calculations
  • Completing end of period payroll reporting for review
  • Ensuring all statutory payments to staff are made correctly
  • Liaise with HR and other offices on any payroll matters
  • Processing company benefits reports
  • Processing staff starting and returning from maternity/shared parental leave
  • Updating sickness including SSP calculations

Skills and experience required:


  • Experience working in a similar Payroll role inhouse payroll experience
  • Methodical, organised, and accurate
  • Good communication skills, both verbal & written
  • Excellent team player
