Gluer Machine Minder

Location:
Ashford

Hours:
Rotational Shift Pattern (6am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm/ 10pm-6am)

Salary:
£14.35 per hour + 20% shift allowance

About the business:

Would you like to work as a Gluer Machine Operator for a company that design and manufacture high quality, bespoke printed cartons, this is the time.

My client specialises within bespoke print and packaging solutions. They offer full in-house support across innovative structural design and state of the art reprographics.

Main Responsibilities of a Gluer Machine Minder:

Producing finished cartons of various complexity, styles, and materials across a range of equipment, both efficiently and to a high degree of quality
General machine maintenance
Advising Team Leader(s) of any consumable stock requirements
Ensuring machine crew are aware of their duties and are monitored accordingly.

Skills and Attributes of a Gluer Machine Minder:

Being able to work well within both a team and in small partnerships.
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work under strict timescales.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Ability and willingness to share knowledge and skills with other members of the team.
Confident and enthusiastic with a desire to learn and develop through continuous training.
Good communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
Experience of working within the packaging sector.
Organised, methodical and logical approach to work.
Able to show a high degree of initiative and flexibility.
