2nd Line Engineer (2nd Line, 1st Line, O365, Office 365, Active Directory, AD, Support) - Permanent - Pontefract

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for a 2nd Line Engineer on a permanent basis for a fast growing prestigious business based in Pontefract.

Location:
Pontefract

Salary:
Up to £27,000 per annum

Skills/Requirements for the 2nd Line Engineer:

Previous experience within a similar role
Hands on experience with Active Directory and O36
Networking experience within DNS/DHCP
Experience with both deskside and remote support
Any exposure to Hyper-V/VMware is highly desirable

Start date is ASAP for the 2nd Line Engineer

The 2nd Line Engineer will be responsible for:

Troubleshooting user problems and providing assistance
Supporting all staff in the use of IT Services and provide MIS support
Providing a technical input in the use of new or upgraded hardware/software and recommending and leading on their implementation
Bespoke Application Management and Support
Workstation management hardware, software, peripherals and input/output devices
Providing accurate service reporting and root cause analysis on all reported issues
Maintaining up to date inventories of hardware & software
