Description
We are looking for an HR Advisor to join a fast-growing SME in Hove.

They are a rapidly growing organisation with around 40 team members at present.


Modern, open plan office in Hove with on-site gym, social areas, fresh coffee and drinks, gaming room, and more.

Salary £30,000 - £35,000 DOE

Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm

CIPD qualification desirable


You will be supplementing the enterprises in all aspects of the HR function and be an essential part of their expansion.

They have doubled in size over the last couple of years and have further plans for expansion.


Main responsibilities:


  • Guiding worker enrolment and induction processes
  • Overseeing the construction of employment documentation
  • Managing international hiring practices
  • Running payroll on a monthly basis, including estimating starter and leaver payments on a prorated basis
  • Offering instruction with official disciplinaries, informing on the legitimate framework and process criteria
  • Composing and dispensing routine written communication from Human Resources
  • Assisting with absence recording, competency management, and prolonged sick administration
  • Administering Health and Security procedures including policy formation and legal tasks
  • Processing salary corrections and other employee life cycle events
  • Supporting year end compensation methods in line with the company strategy
  • Upholding HR measures in accordance with legislative advancements
  • Maintaining employee filing systems

Desired experience:

  • CIPD qualification
  • Payroll management experience
  • Knowledge of Home Office Share Codes (List A, List B, and IDSP)
  • Knowledge of pensions schemes and compliance
