About the role.
Opportunities have arisen in the Housing Solutions Team for the role of Warden. We have one full time role available. This is available on a fixed term contract for 12 months

Reporting to the Property Officer you will be responsible for cleaning and stocking of temporary accommodation properties across Gateshead.


You will be required to clean the properties to a high standard and carry out basic maintenance like putting up blinds or assembling furniture packs.

We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual with a passion and commitment to support homeless households.

You will be an excellent communicator both verbally, in writing and be able to show a good understanding of equality and diversity.


It is vital that you can demonstrate that you have excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to organise your own workload and to work on your own initiative.
