About the Role

You will be responsible for all aspects of pupil welfare, attendance, punctuality, and home and primary links (if applicable) as well as offering complementary support to the teaching community on all pupil/parent issues and further liaison to identify pupils not making expected progress.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • has high professional standards
- is able to make positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents alike
- has the ability to motivate pupils to improve and sustain attendance, behaviour and strive for success

If you are interest in working at the leading edge of education, believe that all young people can achieve high standards and are prepared to work hard, we want to hear from you.

About us:

The City of Peterborough Academy was opened in September 2013 by Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT) after a £13.8m capital build.

Based on Reeves Way in Peterborough, the academy has quickly grown from strength to strength. A dedicated team of staff aim to help support every child in reaching their full potential.

Additionally, we have been described as a truly 'inclusive school' at our recent National Inclusion Quality Mark inspection and have also been awarded 'Centre of Excellence Status'.

We were also 'runners up' at the 2020 National SEN awards for National Most Inclusive Practice.

Both our Academy and Greenwood Academies Trust are committed to supporting pupils and staff alike.

Providing pupils with the highest-quality education is of the utmost importance but we recognise that in order to achieve this, teachers and staff must be properly supported with strong leadership, a climate of trust, research and innovation, and ongoing CPD opportunities.

In Return:

You can be assured that you will be joining a successful Multi Academy Trust that has a great track record in helping children to succeed no matter what their background.

The Trust is dedicated to valuing and developing the workforce whether that be through ensuring a fair workload or offering access to bespoke CPD from the Learning Alliance to enhance professional growth.

We believe in looking after the people who make a huge difference to our children, their families and the communities we serve.

That's why we give everyone who joins a Perkbox account - with 24/7 access to perks and discounts, plus curated wellbeing tools to look after your physical and mental health.

It's part of our commitment to look after you.

  • Shopping discounts from the biggest brands, all year round
  • Save money on everything from the supermarket shop to summer holidays
  • A free Employee Assistance Programme from Health Assured
