We're seeking a future team member for the role of
EMEA Head of Sanctions Controls Assurance to join our Enterprise Sanctions Control Assurance team.

This role is located in **Manchester, United Kingdom

Hybrid Work Model **.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

Lead a regional team of professional staff in overseeing the development and execution of Sanctions controls
Partner with Operations, Legal, Product and Compliance team to ensure the implementation of Sanctions controls in the firm are compliant with all relevant Sanctions regulations and policies
Lead all Sanctions control activities across functions in your respective region, including the allocation and management of resources.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining internal strategies, processes and procedures related to monitoring of sanctions regulatory requirements.
Interface with vendors to assess their technology and to guide their product roadmap in support of BNYM goals.
Manage and provide communication to regulatory agencies and internal audit.
Providing written and verbal issue management communications with Senior Management, Lines of Business and Compliance.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations are adhered to.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required; advanced degree preferred

years of work experience with 5+ years of management experience preferred

Preferred years of Sanctions experience
Experience managing teams with a demonstrated track record of process improvement and operational excellence
