Description

Little Stars (Deeside) is looking for a part-time nursery cook, with the enthusiasm, energy and commitment to be part of our exceptional staff team.


Full training will be given prior to starting however training days will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays along side the head cook.


  • To show initiative, drive and passion being part of the kitchen operation
  • To use excellent attention to detail to deliver high standards with food and to ensure children's individual allergy requirements are met
  • To ensure consistently impeccable standards of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety
  • Have good organisational skills
  • Excellent record keeping
  • Good time keeping
  • Good attendance
  • Work well with others
  • Good communication skills
  • Take ownership of own work and areas of responsibility
  • Liaise with and follow instructions set by the nursery manager and head cook.
Previous cooking experience and food hygiene knowledge is desirable.


Full training will be given and further training courses can be accessed via Coleg Cambria through work based NVQ's if required/desired.

An enhanced DBS check will be carried out prior to starting.


Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary


Pay:
£11.44-£11.74 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
