Constant Security Services is based in South Yorkshire and provides manned guarding services throughout West Yorkshire and North of England and employs over 800 full and part time staff.


We have been trading for 35 years, becoming one of the largest and most respected independent support service companies in the in the UK.

We are always looking for individuals who will improve the service that we are providing to our customers.


We have a full time vacancy available working as part of a team for an educational client based in Horsforth, Leeds.

The role will be working as the Security Supervisor on site leading and supervising a small team.


This will include working a full time permanent rota every week including a mixture of 10 hour and 12 hour shifts.


Please note this will include working weekends.


The main role of the security officers on site will be to provide security support and assistance to staff, visitors and a diverse range of students in order to maintain a safe and secure University campus.


Examples of some duties:

Completing rota's for all officers on site

Training and re-training new officers

Completing handovers with University staff

Organising and motivating the team to ensure duties and tasks are being completed in line with the assignment instructions.

Security officer requirements:

Experience supervising within the security industry is preferred

Valid Frontline SIA Door Supervisor Licence

Good communication skills

Smart and Presentable

5 year checkable work history in line with BS 7858

Report writing skills

Excellent time management skills

Ability to think on their feet and excellent decision making skills


Salary:
£9.90 per hour

Licence/Certification:

  • SIA Door Supervisor Licence (preferred)
