The role
The Building Management team is looking for a Front of House Receptionist and a Reception Supervisor to join them.

You will be working alongside the Building Management Team, taking ownership for the front of house environment and delivering a first class reception service to clients, staff and visitors.

Being the face of 58VE providing an exceptional experience to each and every person to enter the building.


You will be responsible for a broad range of reception tasks including:


For both roles:


  • Providing exceptional customer service to tenants, guests and visitors.
  • Demonstrating a working knowledge of all tenants within the building.
  • Ensuring calls are answered effectively and timely and redirected to the appropriate 58VE tenant in a comprehensive and clear manner.
  • Adhering to the visitor management system to ensure visitors and guests are managed in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Deal with customer complaints politely and positively making every effort to quickly resolve at the first point of contact before referring to the line manager.
  • Championing the proxyclick room booking system ensuring all staff and tenants are using correctly, as well as liaising on room set up arrangements and catering with the venue events team.
  • Monitor the Reception area ensuring it is kept tidy and refreshed at all times as well as box/bags/deliveries free.
  • Track receipt of courier deliveries and coordinate delivery collection. Sort and manage the outgoing and incoming mail.
  • Assist the Building Management Team in ensuring colleagues and visitors comply with policies such as Health & Safety.
  • Develop, implement, and improve administrative processes.
  • Proactive & punctual approach to the working day. Ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner, being ready to work when shift begins.
  • Monitoring occupancy levels on tenant floors.

For the Reception Supervisor:


  • Responsibility for the overall management of reception activities
  • Responsible for team performing all duties in compliance with related legal/statutory requirements, regulations, professional duties, responsibilities and obligations and insert as applicable e.g. Best Practice Guidelines, ISO certification
  • Delegate authority and responsibility to team with supervision, accountability and review
  • Maintain accurate records as directed
  • Assist in the operational needs for our Events Venue whilst we look to enable the space

The person

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and ability to problemsolve effectively.
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm to work under pressure and to prioritize requests in a demanding environment.
  • Professional and punctual.
  • Excellent organizational skills able to maintain composure in a fastpaced team and able to multitask whilst working to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to learn systems quickly.
  • Passion for high standards of customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to develop rapport quickly.
  • A selfstarter prepared to roll their sleeves up and help with whatever task is thrown at them and who thrives on being a team player.
  • Shows energy and enthusiasm in everything they do and is flexible and adaptable
  • Have a proactive approach, and confidence to suggest and organise better ways of working.
  • Sense of fun with a positive outlook.
  • Can quickly grasp complex issues and ideas and analyze environments.
