Description
A University require an Administrator, ideally with higher education experience, to join their team on a temporary contract.This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, Mon-Fri, and is initially for 3 months providing administrative support across the Registry department.
This role would be starting on January 5th 2023.
You will be based at Potters Bar, which is about 15 minutes from Kings Cross and a shuttle bus runs from the station to the campus taking 10-15 minutes.
Examples of the tasks required include:
- Take documents/ files that need to be put on SITS (Student Record system) for the new SITS student file project and upload them.
- Evidence gathering e.g. requesting and collating documentation into an online repository (MS Teams/SharePoint) for Professional Body Accreditation Visits.
- Data Entry e.g. typing of existing course documentation using content pulled together from various sources e.g. University Learn and University Website into new templates etc.
- Servicing of committees/working groups specifically the Course Proposal and Development Group (next meeting 22nd Feb 2023) and others as necessary e.g. Academic Board, AQIGs, etc.
- Project administration as required by Heads of Academic Registry and their areas
- General administrative duties
Skills required:
- Competent using Microsoft Office
- Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Teams/SharePoint
- Attention to detail
- Note/Minute taking with quick turnaround
- Excellent communication oral and written
- Time management and prioritisation
- Work well under pressure and show initiative
