Hybrid - Stopford House as base and work in Stockport communities.

Your Role

  • We are have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Public Health Project Worker. The role is focussed on barriers affecting early diagnosis of cancer and/or the uptake of immunisation.
  • You will be working with voluntary community, social and faith groups to explore barriers affecting early diagnosis of cancer or uptake of immunisation. You will also work with GP practices, pharmacies and with colleagues across Stockport and Greater Manchester.

About You

  • We are looking for a team player who is passionate and motivated about working with communities to improve health outcomes. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative and have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. You don't need to have worked in cancer or immunisations before, we are looking for someone who wants to make a difference positive and who has community work experience.
