_Starting salary of £25,000_**A major brand established 80 years ago and still family owned, Stark Carpet exclusively supplies the high-end interior design trade with luxury carpets and rugs. Stark Carpet's Head Office is in New York, with showrooms in all major design centres across the USA.


Our London showroom has enjoyed successful growth and this is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a dynamic and committed team based in the stunning Chelsea Harbour Design Centre.

_Responsibilities and Accountabilities_

Sales Support Duties:

  • Answering phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate
  • Maintaining client relationship when account managers are on annual leave
  • Calculating estimates
  • Entering proforma Invoices in accounting software
  • Preparing costs
  • Composing Excel Spreadsheets for sales related tasks
  • Updating and ordering supplies for the kitchen
  • Booking couriers
  • Reserving stock from inventory and maintaining reserves
  • Checking stock from rug inventory
  • Updating contacts database & Export contact details prior to mail out
  • Client Hospitality
  • Updating iPads and internal systems with new images in an organized and accessible format
  • Making travel arrangements where needed for management
  • Support for all events
  • Assisting in the Sample Department when needed

_Skills and Requirements_

  • A keen interest in Interior Design Industry
  • Wellpresented and excellent spoken English
  • Proficient IT skills including experience using Microsoft Windows and the Office package including: Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must be an excellent multitasker and be able to work well in a busy environment under pressure
  • Ability to prioritise
