Communications Coordinator - £24,000 - £26,000 DOE

  • Fulltime, permanent position
  • Working hours 09:0017:00, Monday to Friday
  • One hour for lunch
  • 23 days annual leave, plus bank holiday and shutdown over Christmas
  • Based at Stockton House, Rugby Road, Stockton, Southam, Warwickshire, CV47 8LB_
Due to exceptional growth, we are looking for a Communications Assistant to join our busy Communications Team.

The Communications Co-ordinator is responsible for supporting the delivery of the communications strategies, completing day-to-day tasks in line with the companies' visions, objectives, and values, working as part of the Communications Team to deliver best possible outcomes across all channels and platforms.


The role will work with the team to support opportunities for growth and positive change throughout the businesses in all matters relating to brand and communications, both internally and externally.


Key Responsibilities

  • Daytoday management and content creation for social media platforms for a wide range of businesses, across channels including Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Drafting copy for use across several channels including web, blogs, internal communications, printed materials and more.
  • Supporting the production of tender documentation and other business development activities.
  • Supporting the delivery of branded materials for a variety of different businesses including brochures, magazines, banners, presentations and more.
  • Supporting the delivery of a varied calendar of events.
  • Liaising with our retained PR and communications agency.
  • Representing the businesses as required at relevant networking events/exhibitions/meetings.
  • Completing any other tasks as requested by management.
  • Fulfilling all assigned responsibilities outlined in the Service Level and other formal agreements held with external parties.
  • Working in line with all procedures and processes and support the audit and continuous improvement of the companies' OHSQE integrated management system.

Requirements:

Essential

  • At least a year's demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • Qualification in marketing, communications, English or similar/related field.
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing channels and SEO principles.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office programs, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
  • A keen eye for detail and quality.
  • Good oral and listening skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Selfmotivation
  • Excellent timekeeping

  • Experience using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Cloud.
